Ask any bodywork practitioner who their greatest teacher has been and, nine times out of 10, you'll get the answer "My Clients".

And that is true here as well. YOU have been my greatest teacher. With you, I have grown both as a practitioner and as a human being. Sometimes those teaching moments occurred during a conversation on the couch before the session, listening to what was said or what wasn't said...those silent words between the words. Other learnings occurred simply when resting my hands on your back, inviting you to breath and "get heavy" on the table. Your body says so much when it feels safe enough to sink. And while those are all valuable moments to me, I think I learned the most in collaboration with you on the table. When we were working as a team, combining what I felt under my hands with what you felt embodying the change. I will never be able to fully express how grateful I am for your honesty, your vulnerability, your faith, trust, and your sense of humor. Thank you.

Bowenwork is a strange modality. Subtle, elegant, powerful. But so, so quiet in its power. Not forcing, not demanding. Occasionally surprising, even jarring sometimes (hello, psoas work) but overall, by its very nature, Bowen remains a respectful space holder and witness for the change your body and nervous system needs. It's something so necessary during a time when the world is trying its darndest to disrupt our nervous system.

Given all of the above, to say I've felt conflicted over the decision to close is an understatement. But my own body and internal compass have been quite clear and so I take this leap with a hefty dose of faith.

Thank you for being a part of the Bowen and Every Body Heals community. Thank you for trusting me. Thank you for bringing your full self into this space and showing up for the healing you needed. It has been my privilege to work with you.

Below are a few items to help make this transition more clear:

Timing

While the exact end date is not in ink quite yet, it will most likely occur in the last half of the year. I'll be sure to provide plenty of notice. However, if you have unused gift certificates or package sessions, please begin scheduling those now!

Communication

You will receive 1) a quarterly newsletter with updates, including well-advanced notice of end date; 2) emails to notify when the next quarter's schedule has gone live; 3) an email, call or text if you have outstanding package sessions or have gifted someone a gift certificate that has gone unused.

Continuity of Care

Upcoming newsletters will feature area practitioners, Bowenwork and beyond, from whom I have received work and feel sure in referring. I hope to leave you with a "tool box of healing" so you have someone to call when in need.

Schedule Updates

I will release the appointment schedule for the next quarter one month prior. For example, Q2's schedule (April, May, June) will be released at the start of March. You will receive an email notification of the release.

For the most efficient and timely scheduling, please make use of the online scheduler. The link can be found with the Book Now button on my website.

Due to several factors, my availability is now fixed at what you see in the online schedule. Alternate dates/times are not available.

Rate/Session Changes

I have held off on increasing my rates for as long as possible, with the last adjustment made in July 2021. To align with inflation and current bodywork rates in the area, rates will change on March 1, 2026. Payments can be made via cash, check, or credit.

Full Session (120 minutes): $130

(New) Half Session (75 minutes): $85

Youth Session (12 and under) (45 minutes): $55

(New) 30 Minute Add-On: $30

(Back by Popular Demand!) Double Session (120 minutes): $200 ($100 per person)

The "Half Session" was created to add flexibility to your investment and care. For those who regularly receive Bowen (every 4-8 weeks), often a 75 minute session is all you need to keep on top of your wellbeing. There is also a new 30 Minute Add-On, which can help extend a Half Session.

Packages/Gift Certificates

Package and gift certificate purchases are no longer available. If you would like to gift a session, that is still possible without purchasing in advance. Please reach out and we can discuss!

If you still hold package sessions or a gift certificate, please schedule your session ASAP! I will make every attempt to contact any outstanding package/certificate holders but please don't wait for that to happen before scheduling!
